Back to School

This week has seen the start of possibly my last semester of school. I am looking forward to the papers i will be doing mostly focussed on Mission, including Theology of Mission, Urban Mission and Cross Cultural Mission with a paper studying 1st Corinthians thrown into the mix.

Being back at school also means Youth Ministry resumes after a short 2 week break. It will be a busy few months with our equivalent of a Senior Pastor and her husband who is also very involved in ministry both being on Sabbatical until October. This will give me the opportunity to preach at one service in August and help lead our family cafe services.

Over the next few months I will be helping plan a second mission trip to Vanuatu in November, with about 12 other youth leaders. This will be both challenging and exciting as I learn more about God and the way he uses us to reach others and share with them about the Kingdom of God.

Farewell to Angie

Last Friday it was sad to say goodbye to Angie after her month visit to this end of the world. It was great to have one of the Reedley Village here in my part of the world, and have a chance to talk about Reedley laughs, life.

We had a great time catching up with friends from Angies years here in New Zealand. Highlights would have to include a Road trip around the North Island, including visits to the Coromandel, Rotorua and Wellington, a New Zealand Celebration of the 4th of July, and many opportunities to share meals with good friends.

Hopefully it wont be too long before another visit from Angie or possibly other members of the Reedley Village.

It is time to join the new generation of communication, its great to actually see what is happening in the lives of those that I love the most, so I thought I could possibly do the same.
